Robert K. Fujimura, Agency Principal
Robert K. Fujimura, LUTCF started Fujimura Insurance Agency after years of experience in insurance and risk management. Originally, he began his training and interest while servicing as the Executive Director of the US Taekwondo Union (division of the US Olympic Committee now USA Taekwondo) After serving with the non-profit, he went on to 19 years as a Senior Marketing Representative for a national insurance company. He specialized in various commercial and personal insurance in the Upstate NY but now is also licensed in OH, VA, IN, KY, CO and PA to better serve his clients.
Having grown up locally, he has a keen interest and understanding of the community. His passion for service and technical knowledge of protecting business and families led him to form Fujimura Insurance Agency. While raising his family in Fairport, he has served as a board member at Pittsford Community Church. He continues to teaches Taekwondo locally and works with the Liberty University Taekwondo Club. He is a member of Fairport Perinton Merchants Association and the Fairport Perinton Chamber of Commerce.
A graduate of Fairport High School, Monroe Community College and Liberty University, he continues to upgrade his knowledge through education seminars and certifications including Life Underwriter Training Counsel Fellow.
Kate Smith, Licensed Office Manager
Kate Smith, Licensed Office Manager
Kate brings a wealth of excellent customer service and management experience to the agency. She honed her skills while a manager with the Darden Corporation in Virginia, Rochester and Buffalo. She has experience as a customer service representative servicing commercial accounts for a national insurance carrier.
She is a graduate of Fairport High School and attended Liberty University. After living in Virginia, she returned to NY . She, her husband and daughter settled in Fairport, NY. Her professional education continued by attending Bryant and Stratton College for Property and Casualty Insurance.
Kate is known for her patient, personal service, this has allowed her to be a favorite with both personal and commercial clients.
Kristen Waters, Customer Service Representative
Kristen has extensive experience in customer service. She was new to insurance when hired but has worked to get a hold of both the personal and commercial insurance lines. She grew up locally and is a graduate of Caledonia Mumford High School. Afterwards she went to the University of Mansfield in Pennsylvania, graduating in Psychology and Counseling.
She settled on the west side of the city where she raises her children. He discipline and hard work are a wonderful asset to the agency.
Josiah Fujimura, Customer Service Coordinator
Josiah is a graduate of Fairport High School and studied at Finger Lakes Community College. He has worded in customer service in various capacities and makes his home in Fairport, NY.
ACTIVELY SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
March, 2025 Fundraiser for C.U.R.E Childhood Cancer Association (to benefit children and their families impacted by youth cancer diagnosis). A special night to raise awareness and funds for a wonderful organization making a difference in the local community. Our Agency teamed up with one of our networking group (NRG, Inc) to help bring funds in for this great group.

First Responder Support
First Responder Support
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, we support first responders of Fairport, NY with a token of appreciation by providing meals to the Fairport Police Department (Fairport, NY). Despite the sometimes dangerous conditions, they run to trouble while most of us run for cover.
Along with a generous funds matching program through Erie Insurance, we were able to thank the village and department for going above and beyond the call to provide a safe and secure Fairport Village and Town of Perinton for all to live and work.
